This Saturday, August 18th, 2012 is our fourth annual Customer Appreciation Day. Customer Appreciation Day is our one day each year that we dedicate to you, our customer, to say thank you. We do this by having a little party if you will. Like most parties there's food, fun and music. But since we are a retail store and not your neighbor we also get to put stuff on sale and give away door prizes. Cool right?Speaking of cool, there's always some reflection that goes on as we prepare for our Customer Appreciation Day each year. Reflecting on everything from the grand opening, the recession, all the great causes we've gotten to participate in, winning Best Card & Gift Store four years in a row, the construction nightmare this year, and there are so many more. But really it's the little moments in between the big moments that add up to all the good stuff. Like customers telling us how much they love the store or a particular line, hearing about how a staff member went out of their way for someone, finding the perfect gift for someone and making that person's day - those kind of little things.
But mostly we get to reflect on all the great people we've met over the years. Yes we mean you! We know you could spend your dollars elsewhere as there are options and deals everywhere. But you make a choice. A choice to come to our store. And we know without you doing that there would not be any Serendipity Cards & Gifts. You make us! And for that we say thank you.
